Condolences / Guest Book

  1. My beautiful sister Jann, thank you for loving me unconditionally, for still calling me Louie, for sharing books, movies, politics and our love of cats. For being the most generous, warm and loving aunt to Ash and Rikki. For loving Paul with all your heart. For your beautiful smile, your ability to talk to people from all walks of life and making them feel special.
For always having hope. You were so brave and dignified in your suffering and fought for such a long time. No longer in pain and struggling for breath, may your spirit soar. In each of nature’s miracles I will think of you.
I will love you always. I can’t believe I will never see you again.
    Always in my heart Toni

    • Thankyou Toni for this beautiful description of Jann. She was a wonderful Manager to me over several years and then an increasingly loved telephone friend, always interested in world events and nature and ever thoughtful and kind even through her failing health. • I met Jann at Ingersol Rand while doing a temp job back in 1990. She was so friendly and made sure I settled into the job alright. Later she was instrumental in gaining me a position for 12 months which eventually went permanent and I was there for 9 years.

When Jann left I Rand we kept in touch. The occasional dinner or movie and plenty of phone calls. Eventually her ill health took it’s toll on her and our contact became less.

I’ll fondly remember her as the bubbly, happy go lucky and very caring person with the lovely smile that I first met.

    • My dear friend Jann.
Our friendship has lasted 60 odd years and now the friendship chain has been broken.
      Many happy memories

  3. Our dear Aunty Jann,

We will miss your smile that would light up a room, your wonderful sense of humour and the kindness and love you showed your family, friends and the many cats who were lucky to call you Mum.

It was difficult for us all to see a vibrant, strong and independent lady have to battle with your illness and we are only comforted in our loss by the knowledge you are resting peacefully.

Please give Pop, Nan, Uncle Chris and Uncle Bob a kiss and hug from us.

Always in our hearts and never forgotten.

    Simon, Sheridan and Willow

  8. I always opened a present from my dear sister in law Jann with trepidation, she would always find some special gift, a puzzle that couldn’t be put down until solved. She loved our family so much and we loved her. Her failing health was a private thing for her and she didn’t ask for much. I wish she did. Rest pain free dear Jann
