Charles Michael “Charlie” Carter
Passed away after a courageous
battle with Parkinson’s
on Sunday 17th March 2024
and is now at peace.
Aged 77 years.
Dearly beloved husband
of Jennifer (dec).
Loving Father
of Debra and Lee.
Admired and respected
Father-in-law of Ian.
Cherished grandad of Carlie,
Lachlan, Liam, Selena, Emma,
and dogs, Maya and Ziggy.
Uncle to many in the UK
who will remember him fondly.
Brother to Colin and Brother-in-law to Val.
Dear friend to all who knew him.
As per Charlie’s wishes,
a private cremation will be held.
In lieu of flowers, donations
to Parkinson’s Australia.
would be appreciated.

Charlie was my cousin a friend and a workmate. I remember as a kid looking forward to going to see Bib and our Col. When they lived in Bowesfield hoppy days. He’s always been loved and will never be forgotten. Love you Bib. ❤️❤️

Uncle Charlie, you were one of a kind and will be missed by us all. Give Aunty Jen and my mam the biggest hug from me. Thinking of all the family at this sad time, but find comfort in that you are now at peace and with Aunty Jen again. Lots of love ❤️
Uncle Charlie, one of a kind. I will be forever grateful for the kindness and care you gave us on our travels. The devotion to your family was an inspiration. I hope you are up there giving Aunty Jen a big hug for us all. Rest in Peace mate and thanks for the memories x
Charlie was certainly a great loving man who was very dear to myself and our family. He will not be forgotten. We have so so many memories to hold tight.

Charlie was truly one of the best, an amazing husband, dad, grandad – one of the most devoted family men I’ve ever known.
I’ll never forget how unbelievably kind he has been to me over the years.
Rest easy now Uncle Bib, you’re finally at peace. Back in Jen’s arms forever. Thanks for all the Chinese takeaways, teaching me to drive an automatic – and the fantastic memories.
