Dear Tony..
Apologies for taking so long after our funeral to contact you.
Kim Douglas’ service was on the 11th of February, but I have only really now found a moment to catch my breath & write to you.
Firstly, on behalf of myself (Craig Douglas), and the 4 kids (Georgia/Sam/Chelsea & Ella Davis) who lost their mother Kim Douglas – from the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU (and the entire David W Bull team) for your kindness, attention to detail, patience and amazing efforts in organizing a simply “beautiful service”.
From the very first moment I called you Tony, I knew that I had made the right decision.  Your genuine kindness is obvious, and both I and the 4 kids picked up on it immediately.  Nothing was too much trouble for you, and you addressed everything with such patience and gentleness.
I can honestly say, we never cared about money.  I don’t mean this in an arrogant way – as we are by no means wealthy, and struggled to put the money together for the funeral.  What I mean is:  We would have spent $16,000 – if it meant we were dealing with the right person.  It was more important for us to have the funeral the way we wanted it, and to deal with someone whom we liked, trusted & respected – rather than just chasing the cheapest option.
It was just blind luck, that not only did David W Bull turn out to be the absolute best, but, you were also the cheapest.
When we selected you – it was never about the money.  It was because we liked you the most, and our instincts told us that you would do the best job with/for us.
Thankfully, we were 100% correct in trusting those instincts.
The day of the service, everything was just perfect.  Your staff on the day were fantastic, and polite and caring.
All the work that you did with the service booklets, and the video montage came together perfectly.  The chapel was perfect, and the general consensus from everyone who was there and who watched on line was:  “What a beautiful service”…
So, honestly, what more could we ask for, Tony?
A horrible, horrible event in our lives was turned in to something beautiful.  And so much of that is all thanks to you & your lovely team.
On a personal note:  Thank YOU – for being so kind to us all, and for advising us on  how to handle the flowers, the coffin, the notices, the death certificate, the viewing and make up, the ashes collection and so many “little things” – that are so important.
So many people said that it was the best funeral that they had ever been to.  Something that I am positive my departed sister would have been chuffed about.
We had such a beautiful service, and such a wonderful wake.
So, overall we made a beautiful thing out of a terrible moment in our lives.
Once again…. from the bottom of my heart – thank you so much Tony for your fantastic service & support.

Hi Tony, I would like to express my gratitude to you and your staff for the wonderful service you have provided for us in our sad time.  I was going to ask you to place a rose on Pat’s coffin before he was taken away to the crematorium, but was overwhelmed with everything that was going on, on Monday, I had forgotten.  However, I noticed you did that for us, and I am very grateful for it. Thank you to all the staff who helped with the funeral for Dad. Everyone was so kind and reassuring with the steps we had to go through. Also making sure we were aware of the damage to grave so we were prepared. So kind – again thank you everyone.

Hi Tony,
We wanted to thank you and your team for a wonderful celebration of Rod’s life yesterday. It was just perfect and the way he wanted it to be. We have had so many wonderful messages last night and this morning of how people thoroughly enjoyed the event. The girls and l were so thrilled with it all and what you all did for us made it stress free which considering we’ve just lost the love of our lives. It made it so much better than we could ever imagine. It’s the first time we went to an event that we didn’t take anything with us. You all looked after us so well.

Thanks so much for the links, we have down loaded the service, the ability to do this and your expertise was very much appreciated by all in my family.  Bulls made the process of our loss bearable, the kindness, understanding, respect, and professionalism of everyone especially from Melissa was and has been incredible.  I thank you all, I was going to call but I don’t think I could have spoken.  All the family have now returned to their homes and states so now it’s getting on with business the best we can but knowing John will always be in our hearts and remembered especially with the service he deserved.  Many thanks again Robyn Bradley.

From Melissa who was our first point of contact to Jamie who collected mum in a very respectful manner, to Ernest Rigby the civil celebrant who delivered an AMAZING service, to Violet and Louise on reception who were both very professional in their approach to dealing with a lot of questions, requests and constant changes to things organized and to you Tony for your kindness, you all deserve to be commended and be recognized.
Being a family owned run business made everything more personal, we could take our time and even after the service were never rushed to leave. A lot of stuff is done inhouse reducing wait times and making the process much easier for a grieving family.
