  3. Oh Quenten, Kathie, Brett Bronwyn, Ashley, Megan, and all June’s grandchildren, what can I say….June, your mum, Mother-in-law and Nanna, was larger than life and loved you all unconditionally. June has left a huge hole in our hearts, but her memory will live on forever. June was an amazing lady, nothing was ever too much trouble for her. It didn’t matter how busy she was, if she was asked to do something either by friends, family, Scouts or Lions, June would be there, she always made time. In the short 15 years we have known her, she has treated Ken & I as family. RIP dear June and take the long earned rest you deserve. Love you.

  4. My thoughts are with all the members of Junes family.
This week her voice has been playing on a loop in my head, I am still hearing ‘Now Regi’ which was always the first words when she wanted something done or if I was in trouble.
June was strong willed, determined and stood up for what she believed in. My children were lucky to spend time with her and were always given her support and attention.
    A Scout to the end.
    Gone Home.
    Love

  6. It was a great honour to serve with June on various committees. Her input, her humour, her experienced and considered advice may have been quiet in its delivery but it had as much impact as if it had been shouted from the rafters. She loved her community and served it well. I wonder if we will ever see someone with the strength, wisdom and leadership qualities we saw in June. I often hear people say “will be surely missed”. In the case of June Wright those words are most definitely apt and correct. We were so lucky to have the opportunity to know such a special individual and to witness her life of service as a Lions member, as a Scout and as the head of her family. The tragedy is we can’t come together to celebrate her life because of this pandemic. It was great to know you June.

  13. We first got to know June and Geoff when we were all having our families. 40 years ago Geoff introduced me to the KWR Lions Club, and together with Pat, we went on Bus trips to National Conventions, to Darwin, and Hobart. I also travelled to Perth with this Lions group. We attended Zone Conventions from Lakes Entrance to Rye and in between.. A lot of mischief and fun was had by all!
June worked for us for many years, cutting cauliflowers, broccoli, and picking tomatoes. She always knew exactly what she was doing and did it well. Since moving to Pakenham 26yrs ago, I have not seen as much of June, but knew she was always there for a chat. A great community worker, June will be missed by many.
Our condolences to Quentin, Brett, and Ashley and their families.
