Condolences / Guest Book

  1. Dear Julie, Wookie, Ayla, Coby and animal family, we just want to extend our love to you all and say that as you know Jeff and I were very close to Warwick and Dawn so we would love to continue our friendship with you all to keep their memories alive. I first met Dawn in 1990, I met Warwick in 1991 and Jeff just after Warwick. We have his history but you all know the father and the man. We can easily see why Warwick chose you as his family and we love you all too. I will always smile when I think of Warwick, he lives on in spirit and has touched my heart forever. Until the next life, if he dares to return!!! We will see you Friday and bring Rhonda Keogh. Love you heaps xxx

  2. Dear Julie, Ayla, Coby and Chris,

Living in Queensland, it’s been a long time since cousin Warwick and I saw each other. I recall being there at the time of Warwick’s birth with my siblings, Wendy and David, as we waited in the car for Dad (Dawn’s brother Rex) and Mum to visit Auntie Dawn (my godmother) and the new baby. It was an exciting time and I have fond memories of family gatherings and outings with him, Chris, and my siblings.

Dad has been gone over 8 years now and Auntie Dawn more than twice that long but I think of them often and know that Warwick will be in loving company with them and our Nana, Jess. Uncle Fred will be there too, who imparted his passion for fishing to his son, which brought him so much pleasure and contentment.

Dad used to say that with every passing of a soul, we should not mourn overmuch for the departed whom he firmly believed lived on in spirit but rather for those left behind. So, I just wanted to acknowledge with respect my cousin’s passing and that my thoughts are with you all (Chris, Julie, Ayla and Coby) at this time. With sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathies,

    Phillip Ablett
  3. Warwick the road Warrior! Steve and I remember the young guy dressed in leather (and the cool bike of course) when you studied teaching in Gippsland many moons ago.
But I have fond memories too of a little toddler with a dummy and a much loved soft toy ‘Nuggles’?
Thinking of Julie and family with love and wishing you much courage during this sad and difficult time.
    Warwick’s big cousin,
    Wendy Hargreaves (Nee- Ablett)
