commencing at 1.30 p.m.
A private cremation will follow.

Such a sad and sudden happening. Hard to convey the words appropriate to Simon’s passing.
He and I joined the RN, both as artificer apprentices and we both served together on HMSm Conqueror, he at the front, myself at the back.
Somehow we stayed in touch over the year after us both leaving the RN, a friendship that has lasted over the years. Goodbye Si, hope there are loads of hounds to care for up there, now you can fly forever. My thoughts and condolences to the family…

So sorry to hear about the passing of Simon, our thoughts and prayers are with Linda and the family. We were fortunate to know Simon over many years and had many great adventures with him. Our fondest memory was being his passengers when he had just passed his pilot’s licence, our outing didn’t quite go to plan with a sausage sandwich instead of a gourmet lunch as we decided not to land on the air strip with the sheep. Life was never dull when Simon was around. We will miss him! RIP Simon.
