Passed away peacefully at
Lyrebird Village, Drouin
on Friday 28th February 2020.
Loved wife of Harry (dec).
Loving mother and mother-in-law of Jane (dec),
James and Wendy.
Thank-you to the wonderful staff at
Lyrebird Village for their care of our Mum.
As per Ruby’s wishes a private cremation will be held.
Sincere sympathy to Jim and Wendy on the very sad loss of Ruby. A wonderful life well lived, now resting in eternal peace safe in the loving arms of her heavenly family.
Ruby for an “old” lady you were as bright as a button and as sharp as a tack right to the end and we will miss you.
Dear Auntie Ruby you were an amazing person. You suffered many trials, illnesses and losses of very dear loved ones. You never complained and got on with life. You were always very special to our family and although there was such a distance between us we always knew you were there. We will miss you very very much. With all our love Maureen Bruce and family. Xx
Ruby you were always such a special part of our lives when we were growing up. You and your sisters spent a lot of time at our house and always encouraged me in my love of reading. I remember also the day you and Harry got married and can even now picture you both in my mind.
Before you moved to Australia Bill and I had many happy visits to see you in your lovely flat.
You may have been a long way away but always kept in touch by phone or letter.
All my family would want me to say they all remember you fondly.
May you rest in peace.
Anne & Family
In memory of a dearly loved Aunt, the last of the Greenhalgh generation. Warm, sharp and witty and always fun to be with. We haven’t seen you since you emigrated, but we have many fond memories from being with you in Andover. Rest in peace, Aunty Ruby
Love Roger
