Passed away peacefully at home
with loving family by his side.
Dearly loved and loving husband of Carol.
Much loved father and father-in-law of
Geoff and Jayne, Gavin and Toni.
Adored Pa of Lachlan & Tayla, Callum and Olivia,
Jessica & Ben, Luke & Tori, Nathan & Alex, Cassie.
Cherished great grandfather (Old Pa) of
Banksy, Bentley & Winter.

Lucky to meet rob at the towards the end of his life. I can honestly say I was lucky to meet such a true champion.

Robert, our neighbour for all my childhood. always such a good friend to our mum and dad. roofed and plumbed all our houses. Our kids will never forget every christmas eve coming to visit their grandparents and going next door to see santa’s legs stuck out of the porters chimney.

I hadn’t seen Rob for years but I bumped into him at his Officer Stadium 2 years ago. The stadium that he built! I remember Rob with affection, and when I think of him now all I can see is that smile of his. Farewell Robbie you wonderful man.

Rob was my 1st. boss. He was patient, kind, understanding and always willing to spend time teaching new skills and imparting his knowledge.
He was an inspiration to me both as a tradesman and as a man.
He never spoke ill of anyone, he was respectful, unpretentious and humble.
The community is poorer with his passing, but richer for his contribution.

Rob reminded me greatly of my own Grandfather who was my life inspiration. A real man who gave his all to both his family and the community.
