  10. The Australian Plant Society – Wilson Park Berwick offers our sincere sympathy to Judy and family. Ralph was renowned for the tireless energy he applied to the removal of invasive weeds along the Cardinia Creek.
In October 2017 the Australian Plants Society – Victoria presented Ralph and Judy with the Impressa Award in recognition of more than 20 years devoted to improving our environment particularly in the Cardinia Creek Nature Reserve.
When they shifted to a retirement village their work continued as they transformed wetlands in the Village to a wonderful habitat for people, plants and insects.
