Condolences / Guest Book

  1. Auntie Joan. My entire life has memories of you in it. Rom all of us kids engraving our names into the toilet room at your and grandmas, to playing in the weeping willow that was in your back yard. Turning the light off and on at the step. And running away from Roxy. You showed us all love, compassion, I dont ever remember you saying a harsh word. You were mums godmother. A daughter, sister, aunt, great aunt, great great aunt and even a great great aunt. You did so much for everyone. I will.always remember you fondly. Rest Peacefully. – Your Great Niece and Great .great nephews Deklan and Kaden and your Great Niece Lexie xxxxxxz

  3. Joan, a much loved aunt who kept the family linked. Des loved to visit regularly for his chat and cuppa. A lady who was there for everyone, who showed such an interest in their lives, who was able to give sound advice. Her great nieces and nephews remember fondly the gathering after 9:00 mass with many family members present. Kids remember the rock cakes with the lemon icing a great favourite. Joan you were such a kind, loving aunt, loved by all and sadly missed. Rest In Peace now.

  4. Remembering Joan always as Grandma’s right hand. Christmas at theirs in Berwick was famous. Joan was always engaged with you and your family, if you had been accepted to the Flynn dynasty. The trust and love was proven when we could leave our youngest in the care of Joan and Grandma while we travelled Europe with the older two. Love, always love, unlimited.

  6. Remembering Joan:
Joan and Von, travelling down memory lane over 75 years of friendship. Cycling with my sisters from our neighboring farm at Lyndhurst to meet the Flynn family. The war years. The untimely loss of her sister, Kitty, at such a young age. The many years caring for her mother at Berwick. Lovely to be neighbours again for six years.
A beautiful person will be sadly missed.
    Rest in peace Joan.
