I have been privileged to know Mrs D for more than 35 years. Always a thorough Lady and warm host, we shared a great many laughs over the years. Her warmth, charm, little bit of mischief and great intellect have left a lovely warm place with me. May the road rise up to meet you as you continue your journey. With love xx

She was so very kind to me when I was a troubled teenager. Isabel and Ian took me into their home without hesitation and made me feel welcome and wanted. Such a truly kind and generous person. I am sure all of the condolences will contain the words ‘kind’ and ‘generous’ as an accurate representation of a loving woman.
Thank you for your wonderful friendship it was privilege to know you and enjoyed the visits I had with you over the last few years .
Rest IN Peace.Lynette
Mrs ‘D’ You will always be a big part of my life growing up. You and Mr ‘D’ were always kind generous, funny and welcoming. Hope you are having a lovely cuppa with all the family up there. Love you always. Deelepst sympathy to all the family. xoxoxo
Thankyou for inviting us to share your mums goodbyes with you all. I remember Isobel always going to everything with Terryl and Scott to support Timm in all his sporting endeavours. She was such a lovely, gentle lady who had all the time in the world for her family. I hope you all have some comfort knowing she has joined her beloved husband – as I know from the stories you all told of their time together they were absolutely devoted to each other- and I know she asked him not to go too far when he left her so they would always be close until they could be together again. And now they are. Rest In Peace Isobel. Your legacy is your beloved close family – you too will never be far away. Xxxxx
Beautiful service for a beautiful lady. Our condolences to the whole family.
Oh Isobel, how we had so much fun at Dandenong Tech. It was so long ago yet seems like yesterday when I look at the photos of you. Thank you for being an amazing boss. I’ve had a long career in library land (still!) and your support and encouragement in those early days remain appreciated. You were always calm, patient and never judgemental. We also had a good laugh when Ian turned up. I remember him telling me that I was too skinny – well, he wouldn’t say that now! Isobel and Ian you were the perfect pair, a partnership cut short too early but I’m sure the love continued regardless. You will always be in our thoughts, Isobel and Ian, love to you both and to your wonderful family. xxx
