Sending my love and condolences to all of the family. I remember many visits to Hilda and Irvines house, the lovely times and the cute dogs. Hilda always had a gift for me for Xmas and was so kind, thoughtful and caring. Thank you Hilda for being a beautiful person. Lots of love Sarah & Thomas. Xx
I was trying to remember how long I have known Hilda. I couldn’t come up with an exact number but lets just say over 40 years. Over all these years there were
the family birthdays, Xmas and any other functions in which Hilda would be sitting in Tony / Gail’s lounge waiting to welcome you, then proceed in having a
catch up on all the news.
Truly a wonderful lady who will be sadly missed by all.
Dirk
Each year around Christmas I have thought of Hilda and wondered how she was. That was the time Avril, Simon, Ruth and I would always come to visit Irving and Hilda and their little dogs. The first time was many years ago but my memories of Hilda were of her smiling, happy face and her interest in us all and our lives. I know Simon and Ruth always enjoyed meeting up with her and will miss the love and care she showed us all. She led a loving, generous life and will be missed by all of us. Lots of love John, Simon & Jodie, Essence, Serena & Ayla and Ruth
Our thoughts and prayers are with all the family. . Hilda, thank you for your love and support, especially to our little girls and of course, Grandad.
We will miss our Cuckoo lunches and Christmukahs together.
Such a kind and caring person. You will be missed.
Lots of love
Simon, Jodie, Essence, Serena & Ayla

Nan,so many memories. From dancing with you in 1976 at Tainton Road to the Bee Gees. Then later with you and Irvine. So many interstate pokie trips, such great laughs. Coming in every week for lunch for 5 years when i worked at Glen Waverley Knowing you were always there was such a comfort or being able to call for a chat. But i was lucky to have my grandmother for 51 years and you will be greatly missed. Love you Nan. Say hi to Irvine, Shelley. Xxx
We are very sad to hear that our greatnan has passed. We all loved going to her house growing up, seeing her dog, having a cup of tea and listening to her many stories about growing up in the war and everything she would get up too in England. We will cherish the time we spent with her and always remember her fondly. A lovely person with so much wisdom and kind heart. Sending lots of love and condolences to the family.
So many of my fondest childhood memories involved auntie Hilda. Such a warm, kind, loving person. Loved visiting and listening to her endless stories and songs and rhymes she would remember from her childhood! She had the most amazing memory. So many happy memories of grandad and auntie Hilda at their house with the generations of papillons (all the bens), the Lolly Jar, visits to the hills and many birthdays ( her amazing dolly cakes!)/Christmas spent together. Reunited with our precious grandad. Love Kate, Matt and Hugo woods
I’ll always remember Auntie Hilda, her yummy cooking, dolly varden birthday cakes and funny rhymes. Sending love from Scotland, Amy with Matt and Emma xx
I remember many visits to Hilda and Irvine’s house and catch ups for special events. Hilda was such a caring, thoughtful person and always ready to share a smile and a gift. Dearest Hilda, rest well after a life fully lived xxx
A beautiful service. What a privilege to listen to her amazing life and to have so many fond memories. Thinking of you all. Sorry I couldn’t be there in person. Lots of love Kate woods x
To Pauline Tony and Peter, please accept my sincere condolences for the loss of your mother Hilda. I have many happy memories of Hildy and her inner strength, and beautiful nature. I thank her for always being there for Shelley, Khali,Taylah, and Lauryn, her stable and positive outlook was of great benefit to them. Rest In Peace dear Lady, you will never be forgotten, with love and respect, Brian.
I first met Hilda in 1986 as a shy 17 year old boy who felt awkward in a new family but Hilda always made me feel welcome. She always had a fun story to tell and the Christmases and pokie trips were so much fun, watching her and Irvine was so entertaining, I’ll always remember her positive attitude and big smile for every occasion. She was an awsome grandmother to Shelley and always there whenever she needed her, she will be greatly missed.
I’m sorry to be reading this, condolences to your family , love from your sister Olivia, niece Jean and Cameron McDonald xx
