A lovely memory to share from Mum (Wendy) at her request. Wendy was 12-years-old and an avid tennis player and was due to play in a local church tennis competition. Her big brother, Graeme who was a young apprentice at the time, took Wendy’s tennis racquet without knowing and went and got it newly restrung for her and paid for it. Wendy went on to win that tennis competition, and believes it was due to Graeme’s generosity and care as a big brother. This memory has held fast in Wendy’s heart and mind and it is one of her fondest memories of her brother and she wanted to share it with you today xx
