Condolences / Guest Book

  1. Nonna your heart held all the love in the universe and the strength of every army on earth. She was my rock, she was my soldier. I hope to become more and more like her as I grow older.

If my nonna loved you, you knew it. She loved hard; she loved fiercely, and she loved without reservation. Everyone should be so lucky to have the power of that kind of love as a legacy in their life. As I reflect on all that my nonna overcame in her life, I am awestruck by her unwavering love and strength. Being her grandchild is the greatest honour of my life. I am so proud to call you my nonna.

Nonna, I would give anything for one more call, one more cuddle, one more meal with you. There is a nonna-sized hole in my heart that I don’t think will ever heal.

‘There’s no sacrifices grater than what a nonna makes for her children and grandchildren.

‘Ove e’ come una colomba, e bello quando il suo li, ma puo’ volare via quando tu non vuoi che’

Rest In Peace my beautiful nonna xx

  4. My Nonna has always been by my side. Our bond was unbounded, and she enriched my life.

I feel nostalgic for primary school weekends spent with Nonna and Nonno in Koo Wee Rup, playing with the chickens in the backyard and watching movies on the analogue TV. The smell of pasta sauce at dinner time is still imprinted in my memory.
Even in her old age Nonna always took care of me in her own funny ways, force-feeding me toast and pestering me about not wearing slippers on the cold floor. She would never have a cup of tea unless I made one for myself, and when I made her lunch, she would always try to feed half of it to me.
I remember Nonna as a spirited, funny lady who never hesitated to speak her mind. She was so easy to adore, and I know that she left a lasting impression on every person who ever met her. Her smile was so infectious, her hugs so tight and she could make friends with anybody. My Nonna was just exceptional.
I would give anything to make her one last cup of tea and sit by the fireplace together again. To have to say goodbye pains me more than anything, but I am grateful still for the time on earth we did share. My Nonna lived a long, healthy life enjoying the simple pleasures – good food, lots of laughs and a big loud family with so much love to give. She passed peacefully and can now rest easy with my Nonno in the garden of heaven.
I love you Nonna, and I miss you everyday. You will always live on in my heart and through the memories I will cherish forever. Please check in from time to time, and remind me to eat my toast.
Lots of Love from Janelle <3

  5. To our dearest Franca, Frank, Luke, Janelle, Enza, Ross, Micky, Warren, Geraldine, Andrew, Greg, Taia, Francesca, Mario and all the sweet great grandchildren. Our heartfelt condolences on the loss of our darling “Nonna Redi”. We’ve lost a legend but she will continue to live in our hearts and memories. Her sense of humour, kindness, loving nature and feisty stubborn firecracker side. She was an amazing cook, we enjoyed her pizzas, ricotta pies, biscotti, sweets. She always wanted to help with washing up and never took no for an answer. I’ll always remember you calling me Darling and Ciao Bella. Will miss you terribly our Darling. May you Rest In Peace with your beloved Mario. Love always. Althea, Damian, Eva & Oscar ♥️
