Dear Freda, my heart is broken, on your passing! You were such a wonderful, loving and caring person! You always put others before yourself. I am very proud to be able to have you as my cousin, such a wonderful example for others to follow, your mum and dad would be very proud of you. Well done, good and faithful servant, rest in peace with your mum and dad. I was so blessed that my brother and sister along with myself, were able to visit you together one last time! Deepest Sympathy to the Thomas, and Fredas mums side, and all Fredas friends, love to you all, Cousin Beth and son Daniel Wilcox (nee Drohan)
Deepest Sympathy to the family Freda was a wonderful friend and neighbour to my Auntie Glen and shared many happy times together
Freda, you have always been an inspiration and a kind hearted friend to me and my family in so many ways. I’ll always value and cherish our times spent together and your insightful, wholesome and beautiful advice you have shared with me along the way. I am so grateful for knowing you. Rest in Peace, with love.
Our condolences to her family and friends. Freda was a long-time friend and colleague of our aunt, Myra Osler. We came to know her over the years and loved her also. (In fact I have known her all my life as I was one of her “babies” born at the little Trafalgar hospital). She was an inspiring woman with a can-do, common sense approach to life. Caring and compassionate, hers was a life well lived. She will be sadly missed.
Lorraine and Margaret (Tuena)
A dear neighbour to Iris Coop and a cherished friend to Barbara and Jenny and their grandchildren over the years of her residence in Snodgrass Street. A fascinating story-teller, a remarkably capable nursing professional and a devoted lover of life – always curious and interested in the well-being of others. Rest easy after your busy and compassionate tour of duty here, dear Freda. Forever in our hearts.
Freda was always a wonderful cousin and possessed a wonderful memory. She will always be fondly remembered by all our family.
Wonderfully welcoming and generous. Our family visits to you are some of my favourite childhood memories. Were it not for your knowledge of our family history, and the joy you took in sharing it, my life may have taken a different path. I certainly have a summer in Montreal spent with distant relatives, and an Italian passport, that are ultimately the result of the connections that you helped me make.
Thank you.
