I remember Donny as a very hearty character. Always said as it is, full of life and certainly lived a life. I remember Donny coming into Katie’s life as clear as yesterday a match made in heaven. I am proud that he will always be remembered with great fondness and love, I am proud that he was part of our family. Blessings. Xx

You have fought and ended round 1 of your life Don. Round 2 is next. See you then! Your brother in law Keith
Thanks Keith
No words seem adequate to explain the way we have lost you so suddenly and in such tragic circumstances. The Friday night before we were together on our zoom quiz, doing you pub crawl picture round…such fun. I am reviewing my wonderful, happy and cherished memories to get me through. We will do all we can for Kate and family. Love you always big brother. Trudie xxx
Trudie, so hard to be apart at this time. Hope to be together soon to laugh and cry about Don, his antics and memories. You can have an Oyster Bay and I will have a cup of tea.
Katie x
You were my Uncle Don. Straightforward, thoughtful and enjoyed the simple things in life. Qualities that some may consider normal but you made them grand. I will miss you.
Love Kendall
Thanks Kendall lovely words for Uncle Don.
Don, my heart is breaking, but through the tears I find myself laughing too. So many memories of simple things but sharing them with you made them special. I’ll walk round the Blue Lagoon, pick blackberries, watch All Creatures, dance a little, tease a lot and carry you with me in my heart. Thank you for all we shared. Lots of love from Sarah.
Sarah, look forward to visiting all of Dons favourite places with you soon.
You certainly was a good inspiration . You definitely knew where you stood with you . I loved you so very much and I KNEW YOU LOVED ME even though it wasn’t said often and I had so much respect for you. You were a very good bro to me and would never have any harm done to me. You really passed on your love and attention on to your family. He was certainly a good hard working man always doing things to make others happy. I certainly have lots of happy memories to look back on. I will miss you very much. Your life has ended all too soon and look forward to seeing you again.
PS to my last post I will always remember Don and my feelings go out to Katie , Amy and tom and their families. I love you all very much.
All my love Don’s baby sister Joy xxxxxxxxxxxxx
Joy, Don loved his sisters so much and he always loved your wicked sense of humour.
What a privilege it was to come into the family when I married Joy. My first contact with Don was when we went out and stayed with the family and made me so welcome. I will always remember his kind and generous disposition always doing things for the benefit of others.. When he came back to England I will never forget how he wanted to make sure he spent time with his family. Wonderful man with fantastic ego. He will never be forgotten and look forward to the future time we will have together. My heart goes out to Katie and the rest of the family and will do all I can to help them call to mind all the good times they have had together.
All my love Paul Don’s Brother In Law
Thanks Paul

Thank you Gail, so lovely to hear from you.
There aren’t many people in life you can feel close to and think of often, when they live the other side of the world. I have always enjoyed your company Don and will think of you every day (you are in my wedding picture on my living room wall and my classroom desk too). An irreplaceable Uncle.

Dear Olivia, thank you for your kind words.
Don, I miss you every day but I’m especially sad you will miss Joni’s wedding day. She wanted you to walk her down the aisle, and I know you would have been so proud of her even managing to get a date. I remember all our jokes so well, but miss hearing new ones. I love you xx
