  9. Don, my heart is breaking, but through the tears I find myself laughing too. So many memories of simple things but sharing them with you made them special. I’ll walk round the Blue Lagoon, pick blackberries, watch All Creatures, dance a little, tease a lot and carry you with me in my heart. Thank you for all we shared. Lots of love from Sarah.

  10. You certainly was a good inspiration . You definitely knew where you stood with you . I loved you so very much and I KNEW YOU LOVED ME even though it wasn’t said often and I had so much respect for you. You were a very good bro to me and would never have any harm done to me. You really passed on your love and attention on to your family. He was certainly a good hard working man always doing things to make others happy. I certainly have lots of happy memories to look back on. I will miss you very much. Your life has ended all too soon and look forward to seeing you again.

  12. What a privilege it was to come into the family when I married Joy. My first contact with Don was when we went out and stayed with the family and made me so welcome. I will always remember his kind and generous disposition always doing things for the benefit of others.. When he came back to England I will never forget how he wanted to make sure he spent time with his family. Wonderful man with fantastic ego. He will never be forgotten and look forward to the future time we will have together. My heart goes out to Katie and the rest of the family and will do all I can to help them call to mind all the good times they have had together.
