Also demonstrating to Beryl how a head halter on her much loved Coco would stop her arms being pulled out of their sockets. Rest easy now, you’ll be sadly missed by so many. 16. I was so shocked to hear that my good friend Beryl lost her life so tragically, she was a great friend to me during the time I lived in Papatoetoe, in New-Zealand, long ago, we worked together at Bendon Berlei, she is definitely one of the most sweetest, energetic positive outgoing friend I ever had, she even came to visit in The Netherlands with Jedda. Too bad for the long distance between us, but we stayed in touch all these years when I returned to The Netherlands, she will never be forgotten, again all our sincere condolences for Jedda, Adam and Shane and the whole family. 32. Dear Beryl, it’s taken me so long to post my comment because I was absolutely shell shocked when I was told of your passing.
A larger than life personality with a strong sense and passion for justice & community. Also, a wicked sense of humour sums up the Beryl that I knew and worked with for 13 years.
I still expect to get that phone call saying “ Hello lovey, how’s things “ or catching up for a cuppa every now and then. Or out for our groups ‘dinner get together’ which won’t ever be the same again. My heartfelt sympathies go to Shane & Lorraine, Adam & Debbie and Jedda& ??? . Sorry Jedda
and their families. You are and will always be in my heart. I miss you ❤️❤️✖️✖️

    Linda Onken
  33. We were really shocked and grieved when we heard of your mum’s death.
For me, and for our Gillam Family, your Beryl was a champion!
As she watched me have four children, do you know that she made patchwork quilts for each one!
She just loved people and doing kind things for them.
And she was so gifted at doing nice things!
She was so forthright and joyful and full-on, saying it how she saw it. But above all she loved people!
The Drouin High School Cafeteria was never in better hands. In her day, she actually welcomed staff members into the canteen. She loved us, and she trusted us. The caf hummed!
She loved the kids, but didn’t put up with garbage either.
She was full of life! Full of vroom! And she knew how to laugh!
What a joy she was to work with, to be with.
We admired her. And we loved her.
    And she had lovely kids!
