And then there were two. The death of a sibling is grim at the best of times . First Doreen, then Heather but this is a whole different situation. It is beyond comprehension and has changed all our lives forever. She was so full of life.
Our sympathy goes out to all the Tyson family. Such a sudden and tragic loss. Beryl was such a beautiful person, she will be sadly missed.
Our thoughts and love are sent to you all during this sad time.

Beryl’s life was full to the brim with activity, laughter and love for all she knew and whatever she did. Over the years our lives had been intertwined through children, Drouin Secondary College, hockey, Op Shop and daughters. Our deepest sympathy from our family to Shane, Adam and Jedda and your families. We will always remember this bigger than life lovely woman. Bear hugs all round. xx
Fond memories of the many times on canteen roster working alongside Beryl, never a dull moment and lots of laughter. Also demonstrating to Beryl how a head halter on her much loved Coco would stop her arms being pulled out of their sockets. Rest easy now, you’ll be sadly missed by so many. I’ll always treasure the beautiful patchwork quilt. Sincere condolences to all the family.
I was so shocked to hear that my good friend Beryl lost her life so tragically, she was a great friend to me during the time I lived in Papatoetoe, in New-Zealand, long ago, we worked together at Bendon Berlei, she is definitely one of the most sweetest, energetic positive outgoing friend I ever had, she even came to visit in The Netherlands with Jedda. Too bad for the long distance between us, but we stayed in touch all these years when I returned to The Netherlands, she will never be forgotten, again all our sincere condolences for Jedda, Adam and Shane and the whole family. She will stay in my heart forever, Rest in Peace dear Beryl. Gerry anf John de Visser

A wonderful neighbourhood friend… you lit this town up with your presence.

Beryl I have lost count of the miles we walked and talked, we shared many laughs and tears along the way.
Most of all you were my best friend.
Condolences to Jedda, Adam, Shane and extended families.
One of the lovely positive people that I have been fortunate enough to meet through my teaching career. A wonderful bighearted lady and a real positive force in drouin.
My love & thoughts are with all of Beryl’s family & friends at this sad time.
“Your wings were ready, but our hearts were not. Fly high lovely Ladybird”
Beryl was so positive and supportive of all things Drouin. We first met when I was rostered on in the canteen at DSC. All the students and staff appreciated her as did the nervous parents starting out! She was so supportive of any Drouin event or project and recently gave money towards the tree plaques at the Trees of Nations. I am so grateful to have known her.
The Gippsland Groovie Grannies Red Hatters are so saddened by the tragic loss of our Vice Queen , sending love and condolences to all her family. We remember the fun times and her enthusiasm, may she RIP.
Dancing Queen Andrea
I met Beryl when I volunteered at Drouin Secondary School canteen.
She was so much fun and I used to look forward to seeing her each month. When she left the school, we would catch up occasionally for a cuppa.
Such a beautiful, caring lady who will be greatly missed.
I feel honoured to have known her xx
Our sincere condolences at such a tragic loss of a wonderful lady who gave such a lot to so many. She will be sadly missed.
Regards, Joan Weller and family

Beryl leaves this world a better place.
May happy memories comfort all who knew her, and hugs to the family.
We are deeply sorry to hear about the passing of your beautiful mother, Beryl. She was one of a kind and we are very honoured to have known such a remarkable lady. Wishing you peace to find comfort, courage to face the days and loving memories to forever hold in your hearts.
We were devastated to learn of the sudden passing of our longtime friend Beryl. Our regular lunches and get togethers will never be the same without her. She will be greatly missed, but her shining spirit will always be with us. Sincere condolences to her family. Rest in peace dear friend. God Bless you. Much love from Pauline xx and Helen xx
Our condolences and deepest sympathies to you Adam, Deb and all of the family. May she rest in peace.
Happy next life to my god mother and aunty.
Dear Beryl, it’s taken me so long to post my comment because I was absolutely shell shocked when I was told of your passing.
A larger than life personality with a strong sense and passion for justice & community. Also, a wicked sense of humour sums up the Beryl that I knew and worked with for 13 years.
I still expect to get that phone call saying “ Hello lovey, how’s things “ or catching up for a cuppa every now and then. Or out for our groups ‘dinner get together’ which won’t ever be the same again. My heartfelt sympathies go to Shane & Lorraine, Adam & Debbie and Jedda& ??? . Sorry Jedda
and their families. You are and will always be in my heart. I miss you ❤️❤️✖️✖️
We were really shocked and grieved when we heard of your mum’s death.
For me, and for our Gillam Family, your Beryl was a champion!
As she watched me have four children, do you know that she made patchwork quilts for each one!
She just loved people and doing kind things for them.
And she was so gifted at doing nice things!
She was so forthright and joyful and full-on, saying it how she saw it. But above all she loved people!
The Drouin High School Cafeteria was never in better hands. In her day, she actually welcomed staff members into the canteen. She loved us, and she trusted us. The caf hummed!
She loved the kids, but didn’t put up with garbage either.
She was full of life! Full of vroom! And she knew how to laugh!
What a joy she was to work with, to be with.
We admired her. And we loved her.
And she had lovely kids!
Keith and Family
